mine is right behind my right shoulder blade and at times feels like im on fire. my best relief is a shot of cortisone mixed with lidocaine. one clears up the inflamation while the other stops the pain. it might not be a home remedy but it does work quickly and clears up in a couple of days

Bursitis

This works! I got this from my juice book: Written by Dr. Norman Walker he was a dr. of science (lived to be 119 yrs.) A very smart man. The cause is the drying up of the Synovial lubricating fluid in the joints, eating some avocado daily is helpful in restoring normalcy. I refer to his formulas offen.

knees
suggested by [unspecified] on Friday, January 19, 2007
I have bursitis in my right knee. I have to do less kneeling and soaking in epsom salt in a warm bath helps ease the pain. I also do leg lifts--I sit at the edge of my sofa with feet flat on floor and I raise my right leg like 12 reps and eventually I'll add weights when my knee gets stronger.Massage also works.

Calcific bursitis
suggested by Fil
on Sunday, October 15, 2006
which will be the end result of an untreated bursitis. In my case it was a 13mm one. After having been told the only remedy was surgery I decided that was no option and there had to be an alternative. I went to acupuncture and chinese phytotherapy, plus chiropractice, where not only did I get litterally gradually straighted up, but also got massaged at sore points (the pain is compared to the one of a very nasty bruise). At the chinese clinic I had the usual accupuncture and one day, when I was starting a crisis (inflamation and pain), they decided to do an electrical stimulation, after this I could move my arm completely, as I have always done before the bursitis. The whole process took 1 (one) year. I also took some magnesium, which on its own is not enough to get rid of such problems (I found from experience). I wish for this to be known (but I wish to remain anonimous) and doctors of any medicine to really seriously investigate further on the combination of treatments like the ones I was lucky enough to go through. If it worked for me, it is bound to work for others. I can also tell you that the average blood analysis showed calcium and magnesium deficiency. I hope that my information will be helpful to others
