  7. One of the good natural remedies for depression is the root of asparagus. Consume 1-2 gm. of powdered dry root of asparagus once a day.
  8. Tea made from licorice root is also a depression home remedy. Do not have it more than three times a day.

    John's Wort is a natural herb which helps in depression. The herb improves concentration and memory and relieves anxiety.
  10. Drink fresh orange or carrot or apple juice every day. These restore energy levels.
  11. Immerse ten almonds in water overnight. Remove the skin the next morning and eat the almonds.



    Almonds contain magnesium that reduces nerve excitability and helps relieve anxiety.
  12. Eat cashew nuts since these are a good source of vitamin B and boost energy levels. They are a good natural remedy for depression.
  13. As a depression remedy, eat 5 bananas a day. Reduce this to one over time. One of the causes of depression is nutritive deficiency.
