Natural cures for heart burn
- Coconut water is very good for cooling the system and it also aids digestion. You can sip 3 or 4 glasses during the day and whenever you feel the burning sensation.
- Eat yogurt after your lunch and you can eat it even in the morning.
Mix some common salt and black pepper powder to 1 cup of curd and have it once during the day. You can also buttermilk along with your meals and throughout the day. - Avoid hot foods, oily and fried foods, aged and processed cheese, spices, chilies, tomato and pickles.
- Discontinue smoking and control alcohol consumption.
- Exercise regularly and do deep breathing.
- Eat smaller and frequent meals for 5 to 6 times a day instead of 2 or 3 larger ones. Eat a fiber rich diet and avoid sweets, carbonated drinks and white flour. Avoid eating foods which have chemicals in them.
- Drink plenty of water and fresh fruit juices.
- Soak some freshly peeled pieces of ginger roots in lemon juice for around 1 hour and chew on them after your meals. To 1 tsp of the juice of ginger root add 1 tsp of honey and ½ tsp of lemon juice. Take this mixture 2 times everyday.
